#3~~~~get a milk crate !~~~fill it with extra stuff,~~~coolant,brake fluid,duct tape,electrical tape, 2 qts oil,fix-a-flat,atf,washer fluid,ect,,,
#4~~~basic tools !!flat #2 screw driver,#2philips screwdriver, pliers,vicegrips,hammer,flash light,basic wrench set,small socket set,jack,
the rule of thumb here is 'if you bring it you wont need it,if you forget it!you will need it!!!
#5 ~~~ practice !!!! ever go to change a tire & find there is no jack or tire bar !!! educate yourself on your vehicle, the more you know the less vulnerable you are......
extras~~~~jumper cables,snow brush,kitty litter(traction)tire chains, mini air compresser (20.00 bucks even if you only use it once)worth it
YES IT TAKES UP ROOM, BUT !!!IT CAN SAVE YOUR BUTT & IT ADDS TRACTION...... PACK WISELY !!

CLOTHING ~~~ THE ELEMENTS WILL KILL YOU FASTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE, ive seen the weather change here in 10 minutes...
60 degree temp changes in colorado are typical( it can get cold fast!!!)
please bring extra clothing, jackets & blankets ,hats...
first aid kit~~~ get one( 20.00 bucks can save your butt) infection kills....
WATER !!! ONE GALLON PER PERSON PER DAY,,, GOT IT !!!
FOOD ~~~ what ever tastes good & a few snack bars works
fire~~~make it or bring it...your choice
the rule of three ~~~3 minutes without air,3 hours without heat,3 days(MAX) without water,3weeks without food ,beyond that your toast !!!
